Expanded mitigation capacity allows service providers to deliver additional safety net to enterprises

Commencing with the Black Lotus location at Ashburn, Va. as the first point of presence, NSFOCUS will deploy several hundred gigabits of capacity to each site, providing an additional safety net to NSFOCUS Anti-DDoS System (ADS) customers to defend against the world's largest attacks. Many service providers that use the ADS for DDoS mitigation previously provided service only to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Now these companies will be able to open new lines of business with enterprises that require more expansive protection and infrastructure redundancy. NSFOCUS' proprietary collaboration protocol creates automatic notification and diversion when an attack exceeds on-premise capabilities, so service providers that have deployed ADS technology can deliver lower overhead costs, latency and response time to their customers.

NSFOCUS' plan to open scrubbing centers for its service provider customers in North America completes NSFOCUS' three-tiered anti-DDoS model.
